Proposal on Land use bill unanimously endorsed

Kathmandu, Aug 6 . The meeting today of the House of Representatives unanimously endorsed a proposal seeking consideration on the amendments suggested by the National Assembly on the Land Use bill, 2075.
The proposal was tabled by Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal.
On the occasion, Minister Aryal said that the land use bill was needed in order to promote cooperatives, contract or collective farming to make maximum utilization of the barren land to thereby increase production through classification of land. The House of Representatives will meet again at 11:00 am on Wednesday.
