CSR initiative of Laxmi Bank and Laxmi Cares

Kathmandu August 1 .Today, Laxmi Bank and Laxmi Cares (a social initiative of Laxmi Bank Family) collectively supported Nava Adarsha Madhyamik Vidlaya is a government supported community run school located in Basantapur with around 200 students most of who are from under privileged families having parents working as helpers or vegetable vendors.
These children are fed meals from the school and this contribution would support feeding nutritional meal to them with ease. In view of this Laxmi Bank and Laxmi Cares jointly provided annual support to the school of NPR 290,000. NPR 240,000 from Laxmi Bank and NPR 50,000 from Laxmi Cares to be used towards feeding the hungry children.
In addition to the above, staffs of Laxmi Bank New Road Branch collected a sum of NPR 10,000.00 on the occasion of NRBC’s 12th anniversary and donated 20 sets of school uniform to the needy school children. The uniforms were also handed over during the ceremony today.
