One suicide after falling from shopping mall

Kathmandu, July 28. A person died after falling from eighth floor of Machhapokhari shopping mall in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Yukta Prasad Shrestha, 57, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, according to the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.

Critically injured Shrestha died in course of treatment Naya Bazaar-based People’s Hospital. Reason behind the incident has not been ascertained yet.

Police said that Shrestha was retired employee of Land Revenue Office. Spokesperson at the Range, Hobindra Bogati, said that investigation into the case was underway.
