6.6-magnitude quake hits In New Zealand

HONG KONG, June 16 . A 6.6-magnitude quake jolted 136 km ESE of L’Esperance Rock, New Zealand at 0517 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 111.0 km, was initially determined to be at 31.7 degrees south latitude and 177.5 degrees west longitude.
