Rs 36.41 billion budget in State-5
Butwal, June 16 .Chief Minister of State-5 Shankar Pokharel, also the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning presented a budget of Rs 36.41 billion for the fiscal year 2019/20, in state assembly meeting today.
The budget includes Rs 13.45 billion towards recurrent and Rs 18.57 billion towards capital expenditure. While presenting the budget, CM Pokharel shared that the budget was prepared considering the spirit of the policy ad programmes and the principles of the budget. The budget has prioritized the infrastructure development and human resource development as well.
Modernization and professionalization of agro sector are in the priority in the budget. Similarly, development of Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha and Ramgram, the place contains one of the relics of the Buddha is in the priority progrmme in the budget.
Likewise, establishing provincial university, promotion of tourism and road construction was included with adequate budget allocation.
