Haldibari rural municipality to get its own building

Jhapa, May 31 . Haldibari rural municipality of Jhapa district is to get its own building. Local-level representatives on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the office building of the rural municipality on one bigha and nine katthas of land.
Five locals–Santosh Mangpung, Maitraj Rai, Til Bahadur Subedi, Bhupal Limbu and Kharkamaya Samsuhang had donated the land for the same. The office building is going to be constructed at a cost of Rs 39 million. Chairperson of the rural municipality, Rabindra Lingden, said that an agreement has been signed to complete the construction of the earthquake-resistant building within April 12, 2020.
