Deliberation on policies, programmes begins today

Kathmandu, May 5 . Today’s meeting of the Federal Parliament’s House of Representative is going to hold deliberation on the government’s policies and programmes for the new fiscal year 2076/77 BS.
In the meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to table the proposal to discuss and deliberate on the same.
Earlier, on May 3, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had presented the government’s policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year at the joing meeting of the federal parliaments.
Nepal Workers’ and Peasant Party’s Prem Suwal, Nepali Congress’ (NC) Dr Minendra Rijal and 22 other lawmakers from NC, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal’s Rajendra Mahato, Laxman Lal Karna, Chanda Chaudhary and Chandra Kant Chaudhary have registered amendment proposals on the government’s policies and programmes in the parliament.
The recommendations furnished by the lawmakers on the government’s policies and programmes would also be presented in today’s meeting.
