Two die, three seriously injured

Kathmandu, March 21. Two persons died and three others were injured seriously in separate accidents occurred in the Kathmandu Valley.
Two persons died on motorcycle accidents occurred at Swayambhu and Satdobato as they were riding under the influence of alcohol. They were the Holi revelers. Those killed in the accidents were Sachin Shrestha, 17, from Godawari of Lalitpur and Sunil Sahi, 31, from Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
Chief of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division SP Basant Pant informed that those others injured in the accidents have been undergoing treatment at Manmohan Memorial Hospital, Swayambhu, and Sumeru Hospital, Satdobato.
Traffic police recorded 10 road accidents in the Kathmandu Valley on Holi yesterday.
More than 900 riders/drivers were held on Wednesday for violating traffic rule on Holi. Most of them were motorcyclists.
