Police arrest 84 unruly Holy revelers

Kathmandu, March 20 .Police have taken into custody 84 persons on the charge of involvement in untoward activities in course of celebrating Holi festival today. They were arrested from various parts of Kathmandu valley.

Of them, 45 were arrested from Kathmandu, 35 from Lalitpur and four from Bhaktapur. They were arrested by police personnel mobilized under a special security plan for the festival today.

Meanwhile, 519 two-wheeler and four-wheeler drivers were penalized for violation of traffic rules, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.
