Asakuma appointed chief representatives of JICA Nepal

Kathmandu, Nov. 23 . Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has appointed Ms Yumiko Asakuma as the new Chief Representative of JICA Nepal Office. Asakuma was appointed to the post after the tenure of Mr Jun Sakuma was over. Prior to this, Asakuma served as the Director General of JICA in Yokohama, Japan.
In a statement on Thursday, JICA stated that Asakuma would lead JICA Nepal Office as its new Chief Representative and she has expressed her commitment in providing continued support to the people of Nepal and its government further towards development and prosperity. She has also assured to work towards realizing JICA’s vision “Leading the world with trust” in Nepal.
