Kathmandu-Janakpur tourist bus service begins

Kathmandu, Nov. 11 . Kathmandu to Janakpur direct tourist bus service has been brought into operation from today. The first of its kind along the route was operated by Deepjyoti Tours and Travel Pvt. Ltd.
The bus would reach Janakpaur via Kavre, Sindhuli and Bardibas. The direct tourist bus service is expected to connect the nation’s key religious site and province no. 2 with the tourism business, entrepreneurships and the international visitors as well.
The bus would leave Kathmandu for Janakpur at 7:00 am every day. The entrepreneurs have hoped that such moves of connectivity would help materialize the government’s target to bring in 2 million tourists by 2020. Prior to this, the tourist bus services are available to Pokhara, Sauraha and Lumbini from Kathmandu every day operated by different private agencies.
