CIAA arrests NCDC accountant with bribe money

Kathmandu, Nov 5 . The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today arrested an accountant of National Curriculum Development Centre, (NCDC) Bhaktapur, for taking bribe.
Accountant Guna Raj Dahal was arrested on the charge of taking Rs 25,000 as bribe money from a service recipient. Dahal had allegedly asked bribe for preparing social and science subjects of Grade 6 in symbols and visuals as per the understanding reached with National Federation of the Deaf, Nepal.
CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal said that further investigation into the case was underway.
Similarly, the CIAA had filed a case of corruption against Assistant Sub-Inspector at the District Police Office, Tanahu, Nir Bahadur Adhikari, at the Special Court on the charge of submitting fake academic certificate for his job.
