All Dolpa jeep victims identified

Dolpa, Nov 5 . Identity of all the ten passengers who died in the Dolpa jeep accident has been ascertained.

They are Hemraj Hamal, 45, Laxmi Rokaya, 18, Nar Singh Kathayat, 62, and Sher Bahadur Thapa, 25, of Tripurasundari municipality-1, Asmita Rokaya, 13, of Tripurasundari municipality-2, Budha Dharala, 45 and Kumar Rokaya of Tripurasundari municipality-3.

Similarly, others killed in accident have been identified as Yam Rokaya, 12, of Tripurasundari municipality-5, Bhadra Rokaya, 30, and Manisha Dharala, 17, of Thulibheri municipality-5, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Abhidesh Bista.

Likewise, Nanda Bahadur Thapa of Tripurasundari municipality-2 and jeep driver Dinesh Bohara of Tripurasundari municipality-3 were injured in the incident. Bohara is reported to be in critical condition and both the injured are receiving treatment at District Hospital.

Post-mortem of the deceased would be carried out on Tuesday and all the bodies would be handed over to the relatives. Ten people were killed and two others sustained injuries when a jeep fell into the Thuli Bheri River at Batase Odhar of Thuli Bheri Municipality – 9 earlier today. The jeep (Bhe 1 Cha 1610) was en route to Tripurakot from Dunai when the mishap took place.
