Nepal and Qatar Police to boost cooperation for crime control

Kathmandu, Nov 2 . A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Nepal Police and Qatar Police to boost cooperation for crime control.
The MoU to this effect was signed by Inspector General of Police IGP) Sarbendra Khanal and Qatar’s Public Security Director General Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi in Qatar today.
According to Nepal Police Spokesperson Uttam Raj Subedi, the MoU has featured the matters related to exchange of information for crime control, cooperation for cyber crime control and crime investigation management.
Likewise, the matters on the prevention of human trafficking and control of drugs smuggling as well as other bilateral cooperation have been included in the MoU, Spokesperson Subedi added.
