Minister vows 5,000 monthly allowance to senior citizens

Melamchi, Oct. 12 . Minister for Labour,Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista has committed to increasing monthly allowance to Rs 5,000 for senior citizens.
At a programme organized to exchange greetings on festivals in Melamchi of Sindhupalchowk on Thursday, the Minister said that the incumbent government has prioritized the issues of education, health and employment.
Bista also argued that Nepal’s diplomatic relations with the neighbouring countries was further strengthened after the formation of current government.
Aslo speaking at the programme, former minister Sher Bahadur Tamang said that the road to link Zerokilo of Melamchi would be blacktopped by this fiscal adding that the government has moved ahead for the country’s development and prosperity.
Likewise, Social Development Minister of Province No. 3 Yubraj Dulal shared that the laws drafting process needed for the province government were completed adding that the laws would be made announced immediately after the festivals.
