DSP Rai arrested with Rs 140,000 bribe money

Kathmandu, Oct. 7. The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has nabbed Chief of Metropolitan Police Circle Bouddha Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Kumar Rai with Rs 140,000 in bribe money this evening.
The CIAA confirmed the arrest of DSP Rai along with the bribe money from his office at around 8:00 pm. CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal said that the CIAA team arrested Rai while he was accepting the bribe money from an entrepreneur.
