NT Managing director relieved from post
Kathmandu, Aug 15 . The Government has decided to relieve Nepal Telecom Managing Director Kamini Rajbhandari from her post.
The Council of Ministers meeting held at Singha Durbar this evening also decided to reconstitute the Institute of Foreign Affairs. Accordingly, Dilliraj Ghimire, Dr Khadak KC, Prof Dr Mina Baidya Malla, Major General Himalaya Thapa, Hari Phuyal, Dr Shanker Sharma, Bhawani Rana and Lalbabu Yadav have been appointed for a term of three years in the Institute, according to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota.
The government has also decided to present the Bill designed to amend and integrated laws related to Children, Bill relating to food and food sovereignty, and Bill relating to right to employment before the federal parliament.
The meeting designated Comptroller General Suresh Pradhan the Chair of the Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund and endorsed the Bonus (fourth amendment) Regulations, 2075 B.S., said Minister Baskota, who is also the spokesperson of the Government.
