Man looted of Rs 900,000 in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi, May 27. A man was looted cash of Rs 900,000 here today. Nirmal Sarki, 36, of Dhangadhi Sub Metropolis-2 was robbed as he was coming back from the NCC Bank based in Old Customs Road after withdrawing the amount.
An unidentified group of two individuals riding on a motorcycle shot at him and made away with his money bag.
Sarki sustained bullet injury to his hand. He has been admitted to the Seti Zonal Hospital. According to Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire, police have launched a manhunt for the looters. Sarki is a staff with the Global IME Bank, it is learnt.
