Audi to raise prices from next month
Mumabi, April 17 – German luxury car maker Audi on Wednesday said it will hike prices across the models by an average 3 per cent from next month to offset currency fluctuation and increased input costs.
"The overall market scenario has remained challenging with the constant fluctuation in forex rate which has resulted in rise in input and operational costs. To address this, we have rationalized prices, but have ensured that the impact is as minimal as possible," Audi India head Joe King said in a statement here.
After the price hike, effective from May 1, while the A4 (diesel) model will cost Rs 33.96 lakh as against Rs 32.81 lakh at present, the A6 (diesel) model will be costlier by Rs 1.60 lakh at Rs 44.91 lakh.
