Deposit Cheque through Smartphone

London, Dec. 30 – Customers of Barclays Bank of UK can clear the cheque through smart phone.  The central bank of UK has also given permission to the bank for providing such facilities to the customers. For getting this service, the customer should take the picture of the drawn cheque through his/her smart phone and sent it the Barclays Bank for deposit.

After receiving the picture mail, then the bank deposits the cheque to the concerned customer’s account. After this process is adopted the clearing process of cheque takes just 2 days. Whereas, now the duration of the clearing process takes 6 dyas.
