World Rabies Day

Kathmandu,sept 28 – Today is World Rabies Day. Under the slogan, "Know Rabies, Eliminate Rabies", the Mount Everest Kennel Club has organized the dogathon (a short race of dog with people) to mark the world rabies day on Saturday.
The World Rabies Day is marked every year on September 28. It is also the day the inventor the anti- rabies vaccine, Louis Pasteur died.

Under the slogan, "Know Rabies, Eliminate Rabies", the Mount Everest Kennel Club organized the dogathon with some 600 dogs. The race begun from Tinkune reached Babarmahal via New Baneshwor and Bijulibazar.
