Himal Shrestha : Microsoft Excel 2010 World Champion

Kathmandu, August 11 – Himal Shrestha from Nepal has won a gold medal at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship Awards Ceremony in Washington DC earlier this week for Microsoft Excel 2010.

 

17-year old Himal is currently studying A Levels at Chelsea Academy. The young computer genius was also been presented with a $5,000 scholarship.

 

The 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship attracted more than 344,000 unique candidates from 90 countries who competed to demonstrate their mastery of Microsoft Office products. 100 student finalists participated in the final round of competition.

 

Similarly Chan Joyce Yee Jing of Hong Kong got silver medal  and  Nina Joseph from USA got bronze medal.
