Poverty drives a woman to sell own baby

Chennai, July 6 – Indian Police on Friday has arrasted a woman for trying to sell a three-month-old boy on the road in Guindy. The police could caught the women after they heard through casual observer suspecting her that she has kidnapped the baby.
The primary investigation has said that the woman was trying to sell her 3-months-age own baby at price of 7,000. After knowing the women is the mother of the child she has been investigated.
Answering to the police, the women has informed that she was compelled to sell the child due to poverty. According to the women, she had been working as a construction worker in Trichy, where she got pregnant and gave birth to the baby. She came to Chennai when the child's father refused to accept them.
According to the police report, "She decided to sell her baby to save herself and the child." She had come to the city in search of employment but after nobody hired her she was compelled to seel her own child.
