Anaemic patient dies after wrong infusion of blood

India, July 5 – A 24-year-old anaemic victim in india has died due to wrong transmission of blood.
Despite being O+, the doctors in KC hodpital infused her with B+ blood that led to her death. Hospital had detected her blood group wrongly. The victim had informed hospital about wrong detection of wrong blood group.
The case against medical negligence has been reported against the lab technician and to doctor incharge. No arrests have been made yet.
After the wrong transmission of the blood she was followed by vomiting, kc hospital had reffered her to transfer to next hospital. she breathed last at Victoria hospital in the state.
According to the victim's mother, she was admitted to KC General hospital with high fever.
