Actress Nisha Adhikari climbs Mt. Everest

Kathmandu, May 21 – Kollywood actress Nisha Adhikari scaled the Mt. Everest after seven attempts on Tuesday morning, and registered her name as the first Nepali actress to atop the world’s highest peak.

Three days after actor Arjun Karki climbed 8,848-metre high mountain, Adhikari reached the summit at 8 this morning and added her name to the record book.

According to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Adhikari is scheduled to return Kathmandu on Wednesday. While, Karki has already returned to Capital.

Adhikari, who kicked off her Everest expedition from Kathmandu on April 7 along with 12 aides, had reached the base camp on April 10.
