No more Plastic bags inside Valley

Kathmandu, May 9 – Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been working hard for banning plastics polythins from ashad 1. As per the waste management act – 2068 municipality will charge Rs 5oo for users of plastic bag and 1000 for the sellers.
Metropolitan City is holding discussions with related parties for the implementation of the policy. It has been planning to ban plastics only after mass communications and huge awareness campaign. For making the policy successful it has decided to make maximum use of students.
After the implementation of the policy clothes bag will be used instead of plastics.
