Hotel Sabrina to issue IPO
A minimum of 1.5 million shares worth NPR 150 million to be floated
KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 3 : Hotel Sabrina Limited is set to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The proposal in this regard was approved during the company's sixth general meeting on Monday, according to its founder and chairman, Nirajan Thapa.
The hotel plans to issue a minimum of 1.5 million shares worth NPR 150 million to the public. To facilitate this, the company appointed NMB Capital as its issue manager for institutional advisory and IPO issuance by the end of June. Chairman Thapa stated that preparations are underway to initiate the IPO process with the Securities Board of Nepal.
The hotel has an authorized capital of NPR 900 million and an issued capital of NPR 530 million, and a paid-up capital of NPR 356.5 million
Located in Budhanilkantha-6, Ganesh Chowk, Kathmandu, Hotel Sabrina has announced that the IPO will support its capacity expansion and upgrade to a five-star standard. Additionally, the company aims to utilize the funds to repay existing loans, as per Chairman Thapa. Currently operating with 60 rooms, including apartments, the hotel plans to increase its room count further.
Established some three years back, Hotel Sabrina was honored as Nepal’s Best Hotel in 2021 by the Hotel Critics & Bloggers Association and Hotels.com. The hotel is presently managed under the "Regenta Place" brand of Royal Orchid Hotels.
