Gold price reaches all-time high of Rs 144,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, JUNE 6: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market today, being traded at Rs 144,000 per tola (11.66 grams), an increase of Rs 1,800 per tola compared to yesterday. According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold was determined at Rs 142,200 per tola on Wednesday.
Similarly, the Association has fixed the price of worked gold at Rs 143,300 today, up from Rs 141,500 on Wednesday. Likewise, silver is being traded at Rs 1,850 per tola today, up from Rs 1,825 yesterday.
