“Lack of policy stability is discouraging domestic and foreign invetors”
KATHMANDU, JUNE 4: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Dhakal, has raised his objection to the increase in excise duty on iron bars by the recently presented budget. ” The increment is strictly wrong as it has only left detrimental effects on the confidence of the related businesspersons,” he lamented while speaking at a program today in the capital.
“A conspicuous lack of policy stability has long sent negative signals to domestic and foreign investors. So, the FNCCI frequently urges the government to take this problem seriously and act accordingly.”
President Dhakal also stated that the national economy can be driven forward only through government and private sector collaboration.
