Khukuri Rum to host first-of-its-kind event with Global Rum Ambassador

KATHMANDU, MAY 31: The Khukri Rum brand has announced its collaboration with the Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell to organise the first-of-its-kind event in Nepal. “Scheduled for June 3rd and 4th, 2024, it will highlight Nepali rum-making heritage while showcasing Khukri’s craftsmanship to the Global Rum Ambassador. Attendees are expected to enjoy immersive experiences like rum tasting and a masterclass with Ian Burrell,” states a press release issued by the Nepal Distilleries Pvt. Ltd., the manufacturer of the brand.

“Ian is going to share his expertise on rum through workshops, offering insights into mixology, rum-making, and industry trends. For Nepali rum enthusiasts and bartenders, this event offers a chance to learn, refine skills, and network with fellow rum enthusiasts.”

The Global Rum Ambassador is an award-winning “EduTainer” with over 30 years of experience in the rum industry conducting masterclasses, seminars, and judging competitions across the globe.
