Govt presents annual budget of Rs 1.860 trillion

KATHMANDU, MAY 28: The government has come up with a national annual budget worth Rs 1.8 trillion 60 billion 300 million for the next fiscal 2024/25.
Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun presented the budget in the parliament today which is more than the ceiling of Rs 1.8 trillion set by the National Planning Commission.
Of the total budget, Rs 1.14066 trillion (61.31%) is earmarked for recurrent expenditure, Rs 352.35 billion (18.94%) for capital expenditure and Rs 367.18 billion for financial management.
