Govt unveiling National Budget today

KATHMANDU, MAY 28: The government is unveiling the national budget for the upcoming fiscal year (FY 2024/25) today, May 28.
Finance Minister Barshaman Pun is scheduled to present the budget in the joint sitting of the federal parliament at 1:00 pm today.
He details estimated annual spending and revenue according to the parliament secretariat.
As per Article 119 of the Constitution of Nepal, 2072, the government must present the annual budget in the joint meeting of the federal parliament on the fifteenth day of the Nepali month of Jestha (May 28 this year).
