Economy gradually gaining momentum: Minister Bhandari

KATHMANDU, APRIL 18: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has argued that the country’s economy is gradually gaining momentum. Inaugurating the “Sustainable Accounting Practices” today in the capital organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, Minister Bhandari claimed, “The key economic indicators of the country, which were moving down, have now begun to point upwards.”
However, there is an urgent need to make the economy more dynamic through the development of trade, business and national industries, Minister Bhandari added.
According to him, new economic opportunities should be created by boosting the morale of industrialists and business communities.
On the occasion, he also urged the chartered accountants to maintain credibility and transparency in their profession.
