Triveni unveils electric passenger vehicles, cargo vans

KATHMANDU, APRIL 11: Triveni Moto Corp . has introduced electric vehicles (EVs) belonging to the passenger and cargo van sements in the Nepali market . The number of such itriduced EVs manufactured by China-based Dongfeng Motor is 32.
“Their batteries can be charged up to 80 pecent in just 45 minutes and they have a high ground clearance of 180 MM suitable to Nepali roads,” the company says adding,” They can cover the distance of 300 km on a single charge and promise a warranty of five years or 2 lakh kilometer.”
The two-seater cargo van, the cargo box of which measures 8.5 cubic meter, boast a powerful 50.23 kw battery. Similarly, the 14-seater passenger vehicle is said to be very confortable for travelling.
These EVs will soon carve their own niche market, the company believes.
