Two microfinance companies to commence integrated operations on Mar 7

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 23: After merging, two microfinance companies will commence integrated operations beginning March 7. Community Microfinance Limited and BPW Micro Finance Limited will do so in line with the final approvals granted by Nepal Rastra Bank, the Security Board of Nepal and the Company Register Office.
They have already agreed to go for a merger on a swap ratio of 1:0.8535 and start integrated operations under the name of “Community Microfinance Company Limited.” The merged entity will have its central office in Ward No. 14 of the Banepa Municipality.
