Govt initiates process to get back the land of Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 9: The Land Revenue Office in Kathmandu has initiated a process to register the land plots of Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory under the name of the government. The office on yesterday handed over a letter to Sanjay Thakur, president of Champion Footwear Pvt Ltd . (currently Chandbagh Residency Pvt Ltd )asking to make physically present within 21 days.
Chndbagh is a company operating under CG Holdings. Its president Arun Chaudhary, Thakur and the then president of the factory Ajit Narayan Singh had been arrested for illicitly capturing the land plots of the factory measuring 10 ropanis. But, on Thursday, they were released as per the order of the Kathmandu District Court.
