Economic Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility Ordinance tabled in NA meeting

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 6: The Economic Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance has been tabled in the National Assembly (NA) meeting. Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat presented the Economic Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2080 at the meeting yesterday. President Ram Chandra Paudel issued the Ordinance on January 18 at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Likewise, the amendment drafting committee’s report on NA Regulations, 2075 was also tabled at the NA meeting on Monday by the committee president Suresh Kumar Ale. Furthermore, Minister for Agriculture Beduram Bhusal on behalf of Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung tabled an order in the NA to remove the obstacles as per Section 42 of the Enforced Disappearances Enquiry, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071. The next meeting of the NA is scheduled to be held at 11:01 am on coming Wednesday.
