Fuel prices go up

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) increased the price of petroleum products from yesterday midnight. The price of petrol was increased by Rs 4 per litre, diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre each, and LPG by Rs 15 per cylinder.
With this, petrol now costs Rs 170 per litre while the prices of diesel and kerosene stand at Rs 158 per litre each. Similarly, the price of LPG is Rs 1,910 per cylinder.
The NOC revised the fuel cost as per the new rate received from the Indian Oil Corporation on Wednesday.
