Karnali exports goats worth Rs 3.24 billion

KARNALI, JANUARY 25: Karnali province has generated capital of Rs 3.24 billion from the export of goats. This was disclosed at a press meeting organized by the Karnali Province Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative Development at Birendranagar Surkhet yesterday.
Unveiling achievements of first year of his tenure, Minister Bhim Prakash Sharma said Karnali exported vegetables, kiwi, ginger and milk worth Rs 240 million from different districts.
Similarly, he said that agriculture and livestock products worth Rs 222.28 8 million have been exported from Kapurkot of Salyan and Babai temporary data collection centre of Surkhet since November 15 of the current fiscal year. —
