NEA cuts off power to two more industries

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 25: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has cut off power supply to two more industries because they failed to clear tariffs for the dedicated and trunk lines.
The Parasi Distribution Centre of NEA yesterday cut off electricity to Sarbottam Cement and Laxmi Steel. The NEA informed that Sarbottam has dues of Rs 850 million while Laxmi Steel has Rs 620 million.
Earlier, the NEA had stopped the electricity supply to four industries- Jagadamba Cement, Reliance Spinning Mills, Ghorahi Cement and Arghakhanchi Cements- with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal directing it to penalise the companies not clearing their dues.
