This was revealed by the data lately released by the Department of Land Management and Archive. In Kartik, 26,046 transactions were registered while the number of the same in Mangsir had been recorded at 41,851.
With an uptick in the buying and selling of fixed properties, the amount of the related revenues also went up by around Rs 750 million. In Mangsir, land revenue offices across the country collected Rs 2.86 billion while the very figure had been calculated at Rs 2.16 billion on Kartik.
To help tide over the economic recession, the government has been adopting a flexible financial/monetary approach towards the realty sector. This seems to have triggered the above-mentioned increase in the transactions of lands/houses. However, according to experts, the sector is yet to grow in an expected manner.
