Muglin-Pokhara road expansion: Nine kilometers blacktopped on eastern section

DAMAULI, DECEMBER 12: The expansion of the eastern part of the Muglin-Pokhara road section along the Prithvi Highway has witnessed 42 percent progress. The road expansion project is in implementation to widen the Highway to four lanes. The progress was made in the road section stretching from Anbukhaireni to Jamune of Tanahun.
The project’s eastern section Engineer, Bishnu Prasad Pandey, informed that the task of blacktopping is going along the expanded section of the road. He shared that the one-way blacktopping has been so far done on nine nine-kilometer sections of the 41.5 km-long stretch. Likewise, the task of blacktopping an additional five-kilometer road from Anbukhaireni rural municipality-3, Gaunpalika Chowk to Markichowk started on Wednesday.
Earlier, the blacktopping of a 3.5-kilometer road section from Anbukhaireni-1 Satrashaya to Markichowk was completed. According to the project source, the task of blacktopping has advanced in a way to complete it within the next 15 days. —
