20,800 foreign tourists visit Manang

MANANG, DECEMBER 4: Manang district has received a large number of foreign tourists over the last 11 months. According to Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP)’s Area Office in Manang, over 20,800 such tourists visited this district for mostly trekking during the review period.
Among all the foreign tourists who visited Manang from January to November this year, the French arrived in the highest number followed by Israelis, Germans, British, Americans and Russians, informed Bhujel. Similarly, tourists from Austria, the Netherlands, and India also reached Manang, according to the ACAP, Manang. In 2022, a total of 15,903 international travelers had visited the district.
