Nepse loses 7.29 points

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 3: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index has declined by 7.29 points to close at 851.23 points on Sunday-the first trading day of this week.
The total turnover of the secondary market was less than s 1 billion at Rs 964.10 million. Of the total of 240 companies that took part during today’s trading session, 136 saw a downturn in their respective share prices, while such prices of 94 went up. Similarly, the market value of the stocks of the remaining 10 remained unchanged.
According to the Nepse, Three Star Hydropower Limited and Sabaiko Micro Finance were the top gainers as the share prices of each increased by more than 9 percent.
Likewise, Mountain Energy Nepal Limited, United Idimardi RB Hydropower and NRA Infrastructure and Development were top losers as they each experienced over 9 percent drop in the share prices.
In terms of the transaction amount, Sonapur Minerals & Wells Limited topped the chart with Rs 69.5 million.
