Morang to organize Trade Expo

MORANG, NOVEMBER 28: The Morang Industry Association is set to organize a 10-day Trade Expo in Biratnagar, starting on December 22, 2023, and concluding on January 1, 2024. The Expo aims to boost economic activities in the country by promoting agricultural, tourism, and industrial products. The event will feature the participation of goods and producers from neighbouring countries such as India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, with a total of 250 stalls.
Notably, stalls for agricultural goods and productions from Sudurpaschim Province and remote areas will be provided for free. The Trade Expo is expected to facilitate the expansion of national and international markets for inter-provincial goods and services, foster business relations among national and international investors, and promote touristic destinations through various promotional events.
The organizers anticipate recording business transactions amounting to Rs 150 million, with an estimated 400,000 visitors from Nepal and India. The Morang Industry Association has been organizing such Trade Expos since the year 2053.
