Himalayan Micro Finance not to distribute cash dividends this year

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 26: Himalayan Micro Finance Limited has decided not to distribute cash dividends to its shareholders in the current fiscal year. The decision was made during a board meeting held on November 24 in the capital. The meeting also approved the annual report of the last fiscal year, which will be submitted to the Nepal Rastra Bank for approval.
As per the unaudited report of the first three months of the current fiscal year, the paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs 319.818 million. Himalayan Micro Finance has Rs 45.5 million as a share premium, Rs 105.3 million in its reserve fund, and negative retained earnings of Rs 10.1 million. In previous years, the company had distributed a maximum of 20 percent as cash dividends to its shareholders.
