Himalayan Bank helping hand to the earthquake victims

Kathmandu, Nov 9. Himalayan Bank Limited has extended its helping hand to the earthquake victims of Jajarkot Khalanga and Musikot, West Rukum under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Bank has donated food materials equivalent to Rupess Two Million One Hundred Thousand Only to the earthquake victims.
The 6.4 Richter scale earthquake that jolted Jajarkot on 11:47 PM Friday November 03, 2023 has severely affected Jajarkot Khalanga and Musikot, Rukum West. More than hundreds have lost thier lives and thousands of houses have been fully and partially damaged.
The Bank, in this moment of grief, with intention to help the earthquake victims has donated basic food materials like rice, lentils, salt and oil. The Bank handed over the food materials to the CDO Office, Jajarkot Khalanga on November 07, 2023 and CDO Office, Musikot, West Rukum on November 08, 2023 for further distribution to the victims.
