Chinese delegation calls on Vice President Yadav
Kathmandu, Nov 8. Visiting delegation led by Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Junzheng, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav at the latter’s office earlier today.
During the meeting held at the Vice President’s office in Lainchaur, various dimensions of Nepal-China relations were discussed, according to the Office of the Vice President. On the occasion, Vice President Yadav mentioned that Tibet Autonomous Region is the gateway for Nepal-China bilateral interaction in the fields of trade, tourism, culture and other areas of interests and expressed the belief that the visit would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
During the meeting, Chinese Communist Party Tibet Autonomous Region Secretary Junzheng said that his visit was focused on the implementation of the agreement reached during the recent visit by Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to China.
