Kathmandu, March 3 . Tourism entrepreneurs are going to organize Domestic Tourism Festival from April 26 at Bhrikutimandap with an objective to make Visit Nepal 2020 a success.
To be organized by Gantabya Nepal event Management and other tourism related organizations, the two-day event that will feature tourist destinations in all 77 districts of the county.
Around 200 stalls for commercial purpose will be put on display in the Festival while cultural programmes will be held to promote culture, tradition of all districts.
Furthermore, trekking tools and equipments, handicrafts, locally produced goods will be featured in the Festival while the travel agencies, trekking agencies, airlines, hotels and tourism organizations and schools will have their stalls in the event.
It was shared at a press conference organized by Gantabya Nepal here today. Gantabya Nepal’s President Shiva Adhikari viewed that since tourism contributes towards the prosperity of country and countrymen, the event was going organized to help expand the tourism market.
Similarly, Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal President Nawaraj Dahal underscored the need to identify the new tourism destinations in the country and promote them.
