Health ministry confirms another COVID-19 case in Nepal

Kathmandu, March 23 . The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed a case of COVID-19 in Nepal.
A 19-year-old woman, who had arrived Kathmandu on Tuesday from France via the Qatar transit, was tested positive for the virus, said the Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota at a press conference here today. She is receiving treatment at an isolation ward at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku.
Earlier, a Nepali national returned from Wuhan of China was tested positive for the virus, but has been cured, it has been reported. The coronavirus which was emerged from Wuhan has spread globally.
